The Tall Edit writes about style and fit for tall women, broadly 5’8″ and up. This policy explains the data side of visiting tallmuse.com in plain terms.
Our Audience and Age
This is not a children’s site. It is not directed to under-13s (or under-16s where that threshold applies), no data is knowingly collected from them, and any that arrives is deleted once identified.
Mailing List
The newsletter is confirmed opt-in: you enter an address, we email to check it was really you, and only then are you added. Every message we send carries a one-click unsubscribe and our postal address. Leaving is immediate and permanent.
What You Can Ask For
Whichever framework applies to you — UK/EU GDPR, California’s CCPA/CPRA, or another US state law — you can generally request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, object to particular uses, and opt out of sale or sharing for advertising. Storage and Safeguards
Storage is time-limited and purpose-limited. Subscriber and comment data goes when you withdraw it; analytics data expires on schedule. The site is served over HTTPS, access to what we hold is restricted, and safeguards are kept proportionate to the data involved. No safeguard is perfect.

Information reaches us in two ways. Automatically, through server logs and any analytics tool in use — IP address, device, browser, referrer, and which of our fit guides, brand round-ups and measurement charts were opened. Directly, through anything you fill in: a newsletter box, a comment form, or an email.
Worth saying outright, since it is the question we get asked: measurements a reader shares with us when asking a fit question are used to answer that question and are not added to any mailing list, profile, or advertising audience.
External Partners
This site may involve a hosting provider, an analytics provider, an email service (only if you subscribe), and advertising partners (only where advertising is served). Some process data strictly on our behalf; advertising and analytics vendors typically act as controllers in their own right.
What We Do With It
It is used to run the site, to improve what we publish by seeing which pages are read, to honour newsletter subscriptions, and to serve advertising where that is in place.
